I heavily rely on my computer to do my work and a day without a computer means a loss of dollars for me. So it is really important that my computer is always working all the time, 24x7.

That is why when it breaks down, be it a hardware failure or software failure or a corrupt system because of a virus, I need it to be restored and up and running right away. I have dealt with a number of companies who do computer repair and most just leave me frustrated as they can’t seem to give me the proper answer on how I can fix my computer, and they won't give me a clear idea about how much it will cost to have it fixed. As well, they do not guarantee how fast it will be fixed, they just tell me to bring it in.

Hubby’s hometown, Sorsogon. Our flight will leave at 6 AM from NAIA Terminal 3 and it is just a short 55 minute flight to Legazpi. From Legazpi, hubby said that it is still an hour away from Sorsogon. We will be meeting hubby’s siblings in Legazpi to fetch us as they are driving (which I think is 16 hours) from Manila.

You might think that this is a family vacation, but it is not. It is the 30 days of my mother-in-law and so the whole family is going home to offer prayers and mass for my mother-in-law. But of course since it is B’s first time in Bicol, we might do a little sight seeing as we promised her that she will go swimming. My father in law’s house is just fronting the beach so B and hubby might have a chance to go swimming on Saturday morning before our flight back to Manila in the afternoon.

But since Jacobo is only a month old, his doctor suggested that we just leave him behind and so I am leaving with a heavy heart as this is the first time that I will not be spending the night with him. I just hope and pray that he will be able to sleep well even without me beside him. I am already in tears now as I think about it….

I went to the Bodega Sale with my sister and her boyfriend since they got interested to join me when they learned that Jansports and Sanuk are on sale too. We arrived around 11:30 AM and we were asked to wait outside for a couple of minutes since the warehouse is full already so we have to wait for some of the customers to go out before we can go in.

My only target to buy that day was a luggage since we travel frequently and we don’t have a very durable luggage that we can use for our travel. I checked out Samsonite luggage first but I still can’t afford the price even if it is already at 50% off so I just settled for the low end brand of Samsonite, which is the World Traveller. From the original price of P6,000, I got this luggage for only P1,700.


My sister and her boyfriend checked out the Sanuk shoes and since the price is irresistible at 50% off, I ended up buying three pairs – one for my dad, one for hubby and one for me.


My sister was also able to buy a nice pair of Sanuk shoes at 50% discount also.


When we are finish with our shopping we line up at the cashier and we waited for two hours (so we skipped lunch) in line to pay. But we really got big savings from our purchases so I guess it was all worth it.

My good friend Peachy shared to us in Twitter about the great Bodega Sale of Samsonite, Sanuk, Jansports, and Kickers at State Land Center in Binondo. Since it is just near our place, I decided to join Peachy in his shopping trip there.

The sale was from July 26 to 31 but we want to make sure that we got the first look of the items on sale so we went there on its first day. The warehouse was full when we arrived and it is only 11 AM. Thank goodness Peachy already bought tickets for us so we did not have to line up to buy the tickets.

But for a mom like me, if I will have extra cash, I would rather that I use it to buy gold bullion as an investment. Hubby was telling me last week that he will order an iPad for me since he knows that I badly need a new laptop. LOL). But he said that I have tons of jewelries and bags already and so he would rather buy me something that he knows that I would really need and use.

Oh well, I guess there is really no way for me to convince hubby to ever buy me a bag. LOL. So should I just settle for an iPad?

Last week after B's swimming class, hubby was insisting that we drop by at Robinsons Place even for just thirty minutes as he needs to pick up some items that he ordered from Manny Pacquiao’s store. I was hesitant at first to give in to his request but I suddenly saw this opportunity so I will be able to satisfy my craving for:

Crepes and Cream is one of our favorite food stores in the Midtown wing and before I got pregnant, hubby and I would even dropped by at Robinsons Place before going home to get our favorite crepe. But ever since I got pregnant, we rarely go to the malls during weekends and even after office so it has been a while since we last had our favorite crepe.

So while hubby was busy shopping for his sports memorabilia from Manny Pacquiao’s store, I was busy deciding which sweet crepe to buy. I ordered Hazelnut Banana for hubby and I created my own crepe which is made up of peach, chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and cheesecake bits (as usual, the same one that we always order).

So hubby and I both went home happy that day.

We will be Bicol bound next week. Bicol is the hometown of my husband and it is where my mother-in-law requested that she be buried. We were not able to go with hubby when they went to Bicol during the burial of my mother in law since I just gave birth that time and I am still recovering from my operation.

This end of the month, hubby’s family will all be going back to Bicol again for the 30 days of my mother in law’s death to offer prayers and mass. B and I will be going this time with hubby and we will ask Jacobo’s doctor if it is okay for him to travel by plane already so he can go with us too and see his dad’s hometown.

I think it has been five years ago when I last went home to Bicol so it would be nice to go back to hubby’s hometown again and it would be nice too for Jacobo and B to visit their dad’s hometown and meet their other relatives there.

My husband is a collector of all sorts of sports related stuff, ranging from NBA and NFL action figures, autographed sports memorabilia to DVDs of his favorite sports events. He started with this collection when he received autographed baseballs of his favorite baseball team as a gift from my cousin after hubby’s first time to watch a baseball game. Since then hubby has become so fascinated with sports collectibles that he started collecting them and now he has one room filled with all his sports collections.

I returned my Iphone to Globe a few days after buying it from them as my brother pointed out that the display is yellowish and so it is defective. My brother knows this because we have a cell phone store and every time we get a unit with yellowish display, we always return it to our supplier and our supplier will replace it.

After a month of staying with Globe (they sent it to Mac Center for diagnosis), I called them the other day to follow up on the status and I was informed that they did not find any problem with my phone and I can already pick it up.

My sister picked up the unit yesterday and when she checked on it, it has scratches at the back and they upgraded the OS to version 4 without even notifying me. I hate the fact that they did not take care of my unit and that they upgraded the OS because I don’t like the OS to be upgraded to version 4 since it is just a newly released OS and I heard that it still has a lot of problems.

I returned the unit again to them and thankfully the agent that I spoke to today was kind enough to offer that he will really work it out with Mac to have the unit replace but it may take 3-4 weeks for everything to be processed.

I hope that they will really be able to make a way to replace my unit as I really don’t like the yellowish display of my Iphone. I paid for the unit with my hard earned money so hopefully I will really get my money’s worth and they better be able to do something about my request because my phone has been with them for almost two months already.

If there is one thing that hubby and I love to do together, then it will be traveling. A year ago, we were able to fulfill one of our dreams as we were able to visit and explore Europe. We were touring Europe for three weeks but that three weeks is still not enough to explore everything that Europe has to offer. So if time and budget will allow, we would want to go back as we will never get tired of joining europe tours.

When we went to Europe, I planned everything – from the airfare, to land travel to the hotel accommodation and even the itinerary and I must say that I will not dare do the planning again as it is very stressful. Maybe that is the reason also why we were not able to visit a lot pf places since I was not able to do a good research about our itinerary. I might need a solution to treat acne as I am sure that I will have acne breakouts now that I don’t get to sleep during the night again.

We suspect that Jacobo might have reflux as he spits up almost every feeding and so we have to carry him every time he feeds and at least thirty minutes after feeding so he will not spit up. But since he feeds almost every hour, this means that I carry him almost the whole night and I don’t get to sleep. Just like last night, he is up until 3 AM and when I can no longer resist my sleepiness, I just sleep while sitting down while I carry him.

I am not complaining. But you know sometimes it is just draining and tiring. I don’t want to wake hubby up as he has to go to work so I try to do it all by myself if I can. Thank goodness that my mom is always at our house so I can get to sleep even for a few hours during the day.

But I know it is just a stage and before I know it, Jacobo will be big already and you can already hear me complaining at how fast time flies and how I wish he is still a baby. LOL.

When I was still in college, one of the subjects that I really hate is Statistics. For three weeks now, I borrowed my old Iphone 2G from hubby because I have to return to Globe the 3GS unit that I got from them. My sister noticed that the display of our Iphone is yellowish and mine even has a single line on the LCD. Burp. Excuse me. I just had rice, beef steak, one slice of pizza from Yellow Cab and Chocolate Chip Frapuccino from Starbucks. So do you think I should start reading diet pill review now? LOL.

Jacobo’s baptism will be one month away from now and I really want to at least shed a few pounds from my current weight now before the baptism so at least I won’t look fat on that day. LOL. I remember during the baptism of my first born, I really had a hard time looking for a complementing dress to wear for the event for my size and weight and I don’t want to have the same experience again.

It took me more than six months to go back to my pre-pregnancy weight during my first pregnancy. I observed a very strict diet and did some exercise before I loose weight. So I guess I better start acting now if I am really serious in loosing weight in a month’s time

Finally after years of paying our monthly amortization with the bank, we only have three months left and our housing loan will be finished. This means we can get another loan for some home renovations we have been planing for.

This has been a long time dream of my husband but we can only afford one monthly mortgage payment at a time, so we have to wait for our first housing loan to finish before we get another loan for the renovation. Cebu Pacific is having a seat sale again. The start of the booking period will be tomorrow but thanks to Twitter, I was able to catch their announcement again a day in advance.

But how I wish it will be for me and my family. The booking that I made is for a family friend and her family. I was just talking to her last night and asked me to inform her if there are airfare promos as they are planning to go to Hong Kong. And just the perfect timing because Cebu Pacific just released their latest promo today and I was able to book a round trip ticket to Hong Kong for her and her family for only P3,700 per person.

The travel period for this promo is from September to October 31, 2010 and I am targeting December for our next family getaway so at least Jacobo is six months old by then and if we get a go signal from his pediatrician, he might be able to join us for that trip. I am actually tempted to book a ticket as the date falls on B’s semestral break but I know it will be difficult for me to leave Jacobo behind especially since I am breastfeeding him. So I guess this promo is not for me and will have to wait for future promo from Cebu Pacific

Hubby was away for six days because they have to go to their hometown to bring their mom to her final resting place. B, Jacobo and I were not able to go with him because it has only been a week since I delivered via CS delivery and so I am just recovering from my operation.

So it is just me, B and Jacobo at home while hubby was away. Thank goodness that my mother volunteered to stay with us during those times that hubby was away. Otherwise I will need acne treatments as for sure I will be up the whole night.

Jacobo is feeding almost every hour so I am awake almost every hour. But what I sometimes do is that I expressed milk before night time so either my mom or hubby can alternate with me in feeding Jacobo.

But I am glad that hubby is back home with us already. Not only I am thankful because I have somebody who can help me take care of my two kids, but six days is too long already and we already miss him terribly.

Because hubby has been busy when his mama was in the hospital, he has to postpone the renovation project that he started for our house in Bulacan. But after mama passed away, hubby wanted to start with the project again. Maybe because he wanted to be busy to keep his mind pre-occupied as I know how difficult it is each day for hubby now that his mama is gone.

Just like last night, I know he is tired and sleepy already because he just came back from a 13 hour travel but instead of sleeping, he went online and started checking on patio cushions, bathroom accessories and kitchen furnishings as this are the stuff that he wanted to start on once he start with his renovation project again.

But I am glad he is channeling his sadness with these kinds of things. Hubby kept on saying that he is okay now and that he already accepted God’s will but I love to see him go back to his usual routine because it is only then that I can say that he is really okay.

This picture was taken when she and her family went to the US for a three weeks vacation. I am really so envious as I check her photo stream in Flickr and saw how her kids enjoyed their vacation especially their trip to Disneyland.

It is a dream of me and hubby that we will be able to bring our kids to the US someday so we can bring them to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. Hubby and I went there five years ago and even as an adult, we really had fun and it really brought out the kid in us.

Hope that hubby and I will be able to save up so we can fulfill our promise to our kids that someday we will be able to take them to US Disneyland. I am sure they will really have the greatest time of their life if this happens.

Hubby is away since Friday night to bring her mother to her final resting place in their hometown in the province. We were not able to go as I am still recovering from my operation and I really feel bad because I really wanted to be with hubby.

Since Friday, I feel so sad and depress. Since hubby is busy attending to friends and relatives who is condoling with them, there are times that hubby can’t answer my text and calls right away. Because of that, I feel paranoid and a lot of things are going through my mind. Is hubby mad at me because I was not able to go with him? Does hubby find me to fat already that I need to take slimming pills? Or he is a very strong person that I sometimes feel that he doesn’t need me in his life.

I know, I know these are all just product of my wild imagination. I am really glad that I was able to talk to hubby this morning and he assured me that I need not worry and I am really happy to hear that they are driving back to Manila this afternoon. This means that hubby will be home tomorrow morning. I really can’t wait.

Could this be a symptom of my postpartum depression?

It was a productive day yesterday as I was able to catch up with my work emails and have finished a number of my tasks. Jacobo was cooperative and I was able to work while he was sleeping in between feedings.

But it was a different day today. I was supposed to read about human growth hormone facts but then I switched to Star Movies and ETC channel and since then I have been glued to my sit while I feed Jacobo as I watch the movies “The Proposal” and “Never Been Kissed” and the latest season of America’s Next Top Model.

I have never seen the movie The Proposal and it is really great to have time like this to catch up with movies that I was not able to watch. Ever since I became I mom, I rarely go out and watch a movie not like when I was still single.

But I hope I will resist temptation tomorrow as I need to work to finish some more of my pending tasks.

Be In Love Designs blog is getting a new look. I have been working as a blogger for this blog for quite some time now and I am really enjoying every article or blog post that I write for this blog. The topics that I write are about pregnancy, babies and weddings so it is really very easy to keep my creative juices going to create my daily post.

I took a day off from writing when I gave birth two weeks ago and when I checked my email, I received an email from Erin (my employer and blog owner) that she changed the template of the blog and I am loving the new look.

I started writing again for the blog last night after being in blogging hiatus for two weeks and boy I miss writing for Be in Love Designs blog. Don’t forget to check out the blog if you want to read articles about weddings, pregnancy and babies by visiting blog.beinlovedesigns.com.

Looks like I will need acnepril as my acne will sure act up again with my new sleeping schedule. I have been breastfeeding my baby boy since day one and he feeds like there is no tomorrow as he wakes up almost every hour to feed. This means I have to wake up every hour too to feed him. But since I am breastfeeding, it is more convenient since I don’t have to stand up to prepare his milk. (Not to mention breastfeeding is more beneficial too).

I am thankful that hubby is really very supportive. Since, I delivered via Caesarian section, I still can’t move comfortably every time I have to feed our baby boy so hubby wakes up every hour too to assist me in feeding our baby. And he even has to wake up early because he has to go to work.

But we know the benefits that breastfeeding will give our baby so no matter how many acne or how many sleepless nights we have, we know that all these sacrifices are all worth it.

At 7 PM, my mother in law is already starting to feel pain again. My sister and brother in law are convincing her that they go to the hospital, but she refuses. She would rather stay at home with her kids and grand children. At around 10 PM, they contacted her doctor so the doctor can prescribed a medicine to take away the pain. At 2 PM, she can no longer take the pain and they rushed her to the nearest hospital but unfortunately, she died in the arms of his eldest son.

Maybe if they have emergency medical assistance, she could have made it to the hospital and have been given medical attention. When we learned that she has the big C, the doctor said that she still have 4 to 6 months left but just like what my priest brother in law had said, even doctors can’t dictate when a person will die. It is still up to God’s hands.

My in-laws said that they already accepted the fate of their mom. At least now her pains are all gone and we know that she is happy because she is together now with her Creator.
