Good Friends + Good Food + Good Music = 1 Fun Shower Party
Since the founder of our barkada is getting married next week, Me-ann and Gaye, organized a shower party for our dear friend Lala. The bride was so busy already with all the wedding preparations since it is crunch time already and since she is really famous, a lot of her friends was throwing bridal shower for her. So a few days before the big day, it is only on January 8 that she was able to fit us in, in her busy schedule.
Me-ann booked the biggest room in Music 21 in Malate where we can have our shower for Lala. Issa, Me-ann, Gaye, Joy (who surprised us since she said that she is on duty that night and therefore she cannot make it to the party), me and Lala where among the early birds who arrived at Music 21. We went to our assigned room (Room number 10) at around 9 PM. We ordered our food (we go the P3,300 package which comes with a lot of food like crispy pata, fish and chips, pansit, chopsuey, beef salpicao, etc and free drinks for 10 people) then our other friends started arriving – Edhi with Miko, Jaja and last but not the least Janelle.
We had endless fun singing all the songs that we used to sing when we were in high school and even the song pieces that we used to sing every time we joined a contest a school. Then we had games where we were asked to create a wedding gown for Lala using only tissue and we were asked to do Lala’s makeup in just 5 minutes and our team (composed of me, Jaja and Edhi) won both games. Then of course, we had a surprise for Lala since we hired the Jumbo Hotdog boys composed of our ever dearest handsome husband – Howell, Edong and the groom to be Cedric, who performed sexy dance numbers for Lala. We had the gift giving for Lala after, then the distribution of Lala’s souvenirs prepared by Me-ann (ang walang kupas na talong. LOL) then we had endless drinking, endless singing and endless fun. That is why our bill totaled up to P12,500. LOL.
I left first since we have to be early the next ay for B’s interview at St. Scholastica’s but I heard they stayed until 5 AM. They have to transfer at McDo to get coffee since they are all drunk after the party. LOL.
We had a really fun night. Hope we can do this again guys!!
