Weekend Snapshot # 15 - Snack Time
This picture was taken by my husband when we visited the Manila Ocean Park last Friday with my daughter. We caught this diver feeding the sting ray. My daughter was so fascinated by it that my husband took a snap shot while the diver was doing it.
As I was watching him, I was imagining myself and thought that I would probably panicked if a group of sting rays swim towards me. But the diver appears so relaxed while he was doing it and it even looks that he was really having fun.
B stayed in front of this aquarium for a long time as she watches the diver feeding the sting ray. She too was maybe amazed at how peacefully, humans and sea creatures co-exist. I wish we can go back to Manila Ocean Park again. I heard they have new attractions like the synchronized mermaid swimmers and the boat ride that has a glass bottom so you can see the fishes inside the aquarium.
This is unique. When I saw the title I thought it would be about some snack like mine.:)
I forgat that eeven sting rays have snack time.:P
looks like fun! i read somewhere that sting rays aren't vicious, so I'm sure the diver was pretty confident. :)

A job I don't think I'd be brave enough to do. My idea of feeding marine animals is throwing pellets into an aquarium. But somebody's got to do it. Kudos to the man.

I have seen a similar thing when at Sentosa,Singapore . It really is fascinating to watch the divers feed them . The stingray somehow feel very cold and rubbery !
Manila Ocean Park is one lace I have to check with my family if we get the chance to go there. The diver doesn't seem scared at all. Happy WS!

That's a great shot! We look forward to going to Manila Ocean Park soon. My son would love to see different sea animals including stingrays.
