I miss....

I have been busy the past months that is why I miss:

• Eating at our favorite restaurant, Casa Roces. We used to eat here every week but since 2012 entered, we haven’t got the time to dine out. My husband and I will be hearing mass at St. Jude this Thursday so hopefully we can drop by Casa Roces for dinner after the mass as it is just near the church.
Early Dismissal kmi kaya naka Rob Place pa for last minute shopping. Tapos late lunch @ Casa Roces. Now I am excited for Christmas

• Hearing the sound of barcode scanners and do some shopping for myself. I have been in a self-imposed shopping ban as budget is a bit tight. 2012 will be the same for us financially as last year as we have big projects again line up for this year plus we will be having a big party for B’s 7th birthday.
Mission Accomplished: Last batch of Xmas Shopping. Damit na lang naming magasawa ang kulang

• Doing a quick out of town getaway in Tagaytay and Nuvali (hmm, maybe we can go to Tagaytay this weekend).
@ Josephine's Tagaytay

• Going to Ulingan to be a volunteer to their Saturday feeding program. I was able to join my friend Peachy during their Breakfast with Santa Project last December 24 and it was a very fulfilling feeling to be able to help in our small ways, the kids and the families in Ulingan. Since then, I haven’t gone back so hopefully I can join my friend and the other volunteers again one of these days.

Perfect Way to Start our Christmas Celebration.

Sun and Sand

Last weekend, my family and I were able to go on a road trip and enjoy the sun and the sand.

Estrellas de Mendoza: Laiya, San Juan Batangas

We stayed in Estrellas de Mendoza Resort, one of the newest resorts along the stretch of Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. The place opened last April and so you can expect that the hotel is still clean and very well maintained.

But in order for the hotel management to really make sure that their hotel will be free from pests like cockroaches, which I am sure is not acceptable for any of their hotel guest, they should get in touch with Houston Pest Control to help them prevent any pest infestation in their property.

Houston Pest Control will send over their pest control experts so they can identify any areas where cockroaches can enter and nest.

We really enjoyed our stay at Estrellas de Mendoza and we hope that they will be able to maintain the cleanliness of their hotel and the good service of their staff. We will definitely go back if we ever got a chance to go on a quick out of town trip again in Batangas.

January Photo a Day: Complete

Yehey, I am just so happy that I was able to complete my January Photo a Day project. I did not miss even one single day last month, well thanks to my handy iPhone 4s. I am really glad that I upgraded to 4S as it has an 8 Mega Pixel camera so the pictures that I took using it are just like those pictures taken using an SLR. And since I always bring my phone with me, there is no reason for me not to be able to take at least one snapshot for the day.

Photo 365 Month 1

I am glad that I get to discover this Photo a Day project. Now I can easily go back and recall all the important memories that transpired just by looking at the pictures.

Now my friends and I are up for a challenge as we want to finish this for our February Photo a Day project:Join us. You can find us in Instagram so we can all share and inspire each other in finishing the Photo a Day project for this month.

Send Information Using Reliable Faxing Services

If you think faxing documents is a lost practice, you are not alone. The ease and prevalence of email has almost eliminated the need for letter writing and hard copy birthday cards, and greatly reduced our dependency on the U.S. Postal Service.

However, most businesses still need a certain amount of communication via fax. That’s because important documents often require signatures by interested parties with an accompanying fax trail for authenticity. Email faxing with Metrofax will allow you to send a fax directly to email and attach it to your outgoing message with the same ease as attaching a picture.

How efficient is email faxing?

Email faxing with Metrofax comes complete with a unique fax number which you can then use to send and receive transmissions. Like a standard fax machine, these transmissions generate a delivery report that will confirm your fax has been sent and received, protecting you from future liability with the document.

Indeed, documents and images are emailed to the server where they are formatted for transmission. The entire conversion to a fax legible document takes place without any extra effort by the user.

What are the benefits of email faxing?

Using a faxing service to send information provides a number of benefits to the sender. Email faxing allows you to generate lists from email submissions as a first step in qualifying a sales lead. In essence, your recipient list is generating itself from the people who want it the most. Email faxing programs will populate a cover page with the name, title and business or your potential business contact, and deliver a fax that looks professional.

How does email faxing save money?

In addition to saving costs related to administration, email faxing can help cut costs related to accounts receivable. Typically, orders are entered and processed manually by a bookkeeper and need a lot of time to properly catalogue. Add to this time spent filling envelopes as well as printing the paper and gathering required signatures.

Not to mention the cost of postage and days waiting for forms make their way through the mail system. Email faxing with Metrofax can generate your list from Outlook contacts and fax documents in just a few clicks.

Printer cartridges are not cheap either. Rather than printing every fax you receive, a faxing service allows you to organize your documents electronically and not in a filing cabinet. Faxed documents are compatible with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, as well as software programs like Goldmine and Maximizer.

There is simply no better way to stay organized with your faxes than with a faxing service.

Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay for our 7th Anniversary

My husband and I will be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this coming January 29 and up to now we are still looking for a place where we can spend our anniversary.

Well it is difficult to plan especially since this is a last minute preparation so I am sure most resorts are fully booked already this weekend and second, we need to consider our kids too as we want to bring them with us if we will go out of town.

Deal Grocer has a nice promo actually for Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay:

This is the Philippine’s first and most distinguished Luxury Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay City and so I want to give this a try especially since it is on sale. I checked the site and I love the rustic log furniture, the view of the Taal Volcano from our room plus the royal treatment that they are giving to their guests with their country breakfast and wine and cheese buffet at sundown. The only problem is that they don’t have a swimming pool which my husband prefers as we know our kids will definitely enjoy it if there is a pool.

Oh well, let us see where our feet will take us this weekend.
